About White
White Farm Equipment was formed in 1969 from agricultural machinery businesses assembled by White Motor. AGCO acquired White in 1991 and later retired the White tractor badge.

History and legacy
White Motor had acquired earlier agricultural businesses before organizing White Farm Equipment. Their engineering and dealer histories fed into the White tractor range. Under AGCO, tractors used the AGCO-White identity for a period. Retirement of the tractor badge should not be confused with the disappearance of every product or business that used the White name.
