History and legacy
The Terraplane tractor venture used an importer’s trade name rather than establishing a new tractor factory. Distribution included small dealers and automobile dealers. The archive dates the start to 2002 and the end of operations to late 2004; this history is distinct from unrelated vehicles that also used the Terraplane name.
