About Saunderson
Herbert Saunderson built his first tractor in Bedford, England, in 1904 after working in Canada. Crossley Motors bought the business in 1924 before eventually ending tractor production.

History and legacy
The company experimented with two-, three-, and four-wheel configurations. Fordson competition later reduced sales. The Crossley purchase continued production briefly, so the sale date and last tractor date should not be treated as identical.
