About Parrett
Henry and Dent Parrett founded their tractor company in Ottawa, Illinois, in 1913. It produced designs also licensed by Massey-Harris before original manufacturing ended in 1923.

History and legacy
The brothers moved to Chicago in 1915. Fordson-driven price competition and loss of a Massey contract hurt the business. A mid-1930s Ross Carrier-built machine used the Parrett name again, but was not the same uninterrupted original factory operation.
