About Nuffield
Morris Motors developed Nuffield tractors after World War II to meet farming and export needs. The M3 and M4 entered production in 1948, and Leyland branding followed in 1969.

History and legacy
The tractors were part of a wider vehicle-industry lineage. The brand transition does not establish that all Morris operations were founded in 1948 or that the tractor manufacturing business simply vanished in 1969.

Index power values can include estimates derived from belt or PTO power. They are identified on each model card and are not interchangeable with a measured engine rating. Model years and missing values follow the source index.
