About McCulloch
Robert McCulloch founded his engine business in Milwaukee in 1943. Alongside its better-known chainsaws, it imported and rebadged Kubota tractors in the 1960s.

History and legacy
The compact-tractor activity was part of a wider engine and outdoor-equipment business. Its end should not be used as the closure date of McCulloch generally, nor should a later ownership statement be assumed to date the tractor imports.
