About McConnell-Marc
Ward McConnell acquired rights to large Massey Ferguson tractors in 1988 and built related machines under his own name. AGCO purchased that business in 1995.

History and legacy
A later McConnell-branded venture assembled Chinese tractors in New York from around 2000. That reuse of the name should not be presented as the same uninterrupted production operation as the earlier Massey-derived heavy tractors.
