About IMT
IMT grew from a Serbian foundry established in 1947 into licensed Massey Ferguson tractor production in 1955. After a 2015 shutdown, TAFE purchased the brand in 2018.

History and legacy
Manufacturing expanded strongly during the 1970s and 1980s before later difficulties. Acquisition of the brand and any successor production should be distinguished from the old factory’s shutdown.
