About Daedong
Daedong was founded in South Korea in 1947 and built its first tractor in 1968. Its export business later included Daedong-USA and the Kioti identity.

History and legacy
The domestic manufacturing company and its overseas Kioti brand share a lineage but have different milestones. The reviewed history identifies the 1993 U.S. corporate expansion; that should not be treated as Daedong’s original founding year.
