Big Bud developed from a Wagner tractor dealership in Havre, Montana, into a maker of very high-horsepower tractors. The original production era ended in 1992 after a 1985 ownership change.

History and legacy
Industrial engines and heavy frames supported the large tractors. Designs included tilting cabs and arrangements to ease engine removal. The 1992 date describes the original production run, not proof that the trademark or every later revival ceased to exist.
