The TerraTrac business
ATC developed crawler tractors for agricultural and industrial work from its Indiana factory. The reviewed sources establish production by 1950, but do not support treating that production year as an undisputed incorporation date.
Becoming part of Case
TractorData places the merger in late 1956, while Case’s own milestone history dates its ATC acquisition to 1957. ATC’s crawler business contributed to Case’s construction-equipment line; this was a merger into a successor business, not simply an unexplained closure.

Index power values can include estimates derived from belt or PTO power. They are identified on each model card and are not interchangeable with a measured engine rating. Model years and missing values follow the source index.
