About Agrinar
Agrinar emerged in 2002 from the former Massey Ferguson tractor plant at Granadero Baigorria in Argentina’s Santa Fe province. Its history centers on restarting local machinery production, not on a new worldwide ownership of the Massey Ferguson brand.

A factory brought back into production
A 2005 report quoting Agrinar’s sales department describes investors restarting the former Massey Ferguson factory and producing tractors from late 2002. The business also offered harvesting machinery and developed export markets in neighboring countries.
Factory heritage versus brand ownership
Occupying a former Massey Ferguson plant does not mean Agrinar purchased the global Massey Ferguson business. The sources reviewed here do not establish a subsequent buyer or final closure date, so neither is asserted as fact.
