About AgraCat
AgraCat was founded in 1999 in Farmington, Arkansas, as an importer of Chinese tractors. Financial difficulties led to bankruptcy in 2004, after which AFS developed Montana Tractors using part of its employee and dealer network.

An early-2000s importer
AgraCat marketed compact tractors in the United States and partnered with AFS in 2002 as financial problems developed. AFS subsequently became substantially involved in the business.
Bankruptcy and a successor network
AgraCat declared bankruptcy in 2004. AFS then established Montana Tractors with many former AgraCat employees and dealers. This describes continuity of people and distribution, rather than evidence of a simple sale of the entire company to Montana.

Index power values can include estimates derived from belt or PTO power. They are identified on each model card and are not interchangeable with a measured engine rating. Model years and missing values follow the source index.
